For over 20 years, Outrigger Canoe Ventures has empowered communities through waka ama. Founded by national and international paddlers, we honour traditional Māori and Pacific paddling techniques, taught with safety, respect, and heart. Our sessions connect people to the water, to culture, and to one another — all from our home on the Manukau Harbour.
We don’t just offer paddling lessons. We create cultural experiences that bring schools, teams, and visitors together through movement, manaakitanga, and the spirit of the ocean.
